Formosa Oolong Top Fancy captures the best of what an oolong tea can offer. The fruity character and oxidation of this oolong starts before plucking. The magic happens when a tiny green leafhopper nibbles on the leaves and starts drawing up sap. As the leaves wither and oxidize on the bush, the aroma repels the bug which hops to another plant in search of another meal. This natural process causes a hormonal reaction within the tree which imparts a white grape flavor with an airy full bodied mouth feel.
